The Xiaomi Redmi 9 Power was officially announced on December 17, 2020. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm SM6115 Snapdragon 662 Octa-core processor while the GPU is Adreno 610. The rear camera consists of 48 MP (wide) + 8 MP (ultrawide) + 2 MP (macro) + 2 MP (depth). On the front, there is a single camera sensor: 8 MP.

The dimension of the smartphone is 162.3 x 77.3 x 9.6 mm and it weighs 198 grams. It supports Dual SIM (Nano-SIM, dual stand-by). The device is protected by a water-repellent coating.
